Very smooth and drinkable. Nice depth as well. It's crisp and light on the tongue almost like it is carbonated. — 9 years ago
Light. Plum, oak?, spicy. Good by not the most cab-like — 9 years ago

Very different from the 47 friends 2011 Pinot and from the Hayes Ranch merlot, but also nicely flavorful/fruity. Not tannic. — 10 years ago
This is an amazing Pinot Noir. On the nose you get a full jar of fresh strawberry jam. The strawberry jam continues on the pallet. The wine is dry throughout. — 7 years ago
Notes of musk and Lychees. A palate of pure Turkish Delight. A varietally pure and accurate rendition of Gewürztraminer. This Wine was one of the reasons that Mike Hayes was awarded Australian winemaker of the year last week by the Australian Society of Viticulture and Oenology. The first Queenslander to win this award. Tasted again 29 weeks later with consistent notes. A dead giveaway for Gewürztraminer if tasted blind. — 8 years ago
Delightful, long on the back; not just an ordinary Chardonnay so no ABC needed - fruity £22 from Hayes HANSON and Clark great for drinking now! — 8 years ago
