2014 like a farm stand down an old country road at the peak of berry season. #delicious #winewednesday the only place you'll find it BTG is at Puritan @selectionaturel — 10 years ago
First time trying an old Felton Road and a Block 5 courtesy of Can. Forest floor, some black fruits. Great concentration with depth and intensity of flavour. Good length but never felt over-blown or heavy. Shows why this wine is an icon. 94 points — 10 years ago

Almost ripe cherries, boysenberries. Dusty medium tannins. Lovely wine. — 9 years ago
Lush and velvety. Rich with dark red fruits and a subtle chocolate-y sweetness. Awesome wine! — 10 years ago
Possibly the best Australian cab I've tasted. Would never have guessed it to be Aussie, blind. No fruit bomb here. However, it's hugely concentrated. Blackberries, tobacco, cassis, some pomegranate. Still massively tannic at this stage; still a baby at ten years old. A serious zing of acidity. This baby has it all. Finish lasts for nearly minute. Our tenth Valentines Day. — 10 years ago
Deep, inky purple in the glass with generous blackberry flavors and a spicy, tannic finish. Never met a Hartford Zin I didnt like... — 10 years ago
10yrs old and still quite tight and youthful. Some road tar, sour cherry, red currant, mushroom, and lively dusty tannins wash across the gums. Still has 5-10 yrs left in it and will develop some nice sec-tert flavors along the way. Excellent acidity pairs well with food. — 11 years ago
Nice fruit and acidity. — 12 years ago
Road 13 is the route to take if you want to find a great Old Vine Chenin Blanc. The nose opens with lemon zest and honeydew melon. Your mouth will explore the complexities that of older vines featuring green apples, cantaloupe, and golden gooseberries. — 10 years ago
Improves with decanting. Subtle fruits with dry finish. — 10 years ago
Big bold and beautiful. The bouquet flies out of the glass. My little brother introduced to Gamba and loved it since. The 2011 Starr Road brings everything black in fruit. Black cherry, blackberry, black raspberry and even a little bit of black currant. Mellow tannins give a lasting finish that slides down like liquid silk. — 10 years ago
really nicely done — 11 years ago
Very drinkable wine; young but opens up nicely to reveal good earth and some fresh fruits like cherry and raspberry. Nose is not very floral and leans more toward a Rhone- like barnyard, though not overly strong. Overall it drinks like a nice middle-of-the-road table wine. — 11 years ago
