Very nice after a 2 hour decant which allowed alcohol heat to blow off and everything to come together. Continued to evolve in glass. Dark fruits, cedar, gravel, nice brightness. Dinner with Blanches at Il Barone. 11/28/20 — 6 years ago

A wine of contradiction. Brilliant ruby w translucent edges. Energetic fruit on the nose, especially present when poured alongside 2010 West ridge. But the palate is all earth and spice. Awesome — 9 years ago
