Tasted at NZ cellar Pinot tasting. Light, savoury with nice acidity. Ted Lemon from Littorai is the consultant winemaker. — 9 years ago
This wine screams NZ! Full on nose and palate of passion fruit (does what is says on the label!). Also orange blossom and honeysuckle. — 9 years ago
Really, Really like this wine. Beautiful yellow/green color. Aroma of citrus especially tangerine. On palate, green apple, lemon and tangerine. Lingers unlike many whites. Yummy classic NZ SB. — 9 years ago
Classy, refined NZ SB. Light on the grapefruit and lemongrass, peach pit and stone fruit dominate. Zippy acidity and Flint. I'm 91 on this. — 10 years ago
Complex Pinot Moir from NZ. Drinks like a Bourgonon. Earth, oak, and tart cranberry. — 10 years ago
Great with Duck, top quality NZ pinot — 11 years ago
Good solid NZ sauv blanc — 12 years ago
Firstly, the relatively low score for this wine is madness. I’ve long been an enthusiastic follower of this producer, their 07 and 09s being among the very best wines I tasted a few years back (12 and 13 IIRC). On to the present, and the 2014 presents right away in the glass as a unique offering - beyond the typical Pinot profile of cherry and earth is something like oyster shell - normally I wouldn’t make that stretch, but I ate oysters last night and the profile is fresh in mind. On the palate it is rather massive and full bodied, though in a dramatic, red fruit forward way. This is not a wine for kids, it’s grippy and dense, awash with pure cassis and black currant flavours, resolving into a medley of spices - cinnamon and dried coconut perhaps - and that yummy jasmine tea tannin I always find in good NZ Pinot. The finish is long and fascinating- you can suck the flavour off your gums. This one is full of stuffing and will drink superbly now or for at least five more years. Outstanding. Order off vintages shop online for $53 - appears to be sold out. — 7 years ago
The Marlborough Region of NZ pretty much can't make a bad Sauvignon Blanc — 8 years ago

#wine Mud House Marlborough, NZ Sauvignon Blanc 2014: Grassy w/ light grapefruit on the nose; touches of lemon-lime rind on the palate - softened, balanced acidity (surprisingly so - perfect zest), medium body, refreshing finish. 13.0% abv. Dreaming of slightly nicer weather, garlicky prawns, mackerel, sardines or globe artichokes to go along with;). Thank you, dear Sylviane x — 9 years ago
2014 vintage! This is a perfect example of what a NZ Sauvignon blanc should smell and taste like.... Grass and jalepeno! — 10 years ago
Very special peppery fruity NZ pinot. — 10 years ago
I know there's an argument to be made for where the best Sauv Blanc comes from, but I truly love New Zealand. If you want pure tropical fruits and super crisp acidity, NZ can always be counted on. This bottle is no exception, and a bargain to boot. — 11 years ago
Stunning example of a NZ SB. — 11 years ago
Throwback to NZ for date night! — 7 years ago
Great stuff and crazy value, best sub 20 NZ SB's I've had - heck one of the best in general. Racy acidity balanced bright tropical fruit flavors and earthy minerality. Will buy this regularly at the price, especially since I doubt this single vineyard wine stays at this price long. — 9 years ago
Outstanding Pinot from NZ — 9 years ago
The minerality and grassiness of Loire Valley will greet you at the door, but the grapefruit zest and almost jalapeño pepper flavors of NZ will welcome you in. A great non-Marlborough Sauv Blanc. Add it to your list. — 10 years ago
Solid stuff from NZ. — 10 years ago
Intense aroma and flavors of apples and peaches. Grassy green finish that pretty much punches you in the face. My first NZ Sav Blanc, And so interesting I couldn't stop sipping. Will buy again soon! — 11 years ago
This was my first NZ Cabernet and after this it definitely won't be my last.
Dark berries, fine tannins and a long finish. This has made me excited about NZ Cabernet. A Wonderful elegant wine. — 12 years ago
