Unusual aromatic nose and fresh, dry, taste. Slightly confusing but equally satisfying. — 7 years ago
Low yields in Northern Rhône 2013, but the quality of the fruit is prevalent here. Structured and well-integrated fine grained tannins at the five year mark. The nose explodes out of the glass with finesse and doused complexities. Definitive Syrah nuances of black raspberries, black plums, black olives, fresh cut violets, cracked black pepper, Indian spices, grilled and smoked meats, and stone dust. Light weight but packs a continuous release of flavors. Nose and palate changes from fruit to floral to spicy to meaty. As you move to different areas and rooms the wine changes. The more air it gets, the more meat starts hanging out. Complex indeed for a $20 bottle. Great showing. — 8 years ago

Very well-balanced. But I wish it was a bit fuller-bodied. Sort of like how it's cool to see a gymnast standing one footed on the beam, but would be far more impressive to see an Hillary do it.

-UPDATE: this thing opened up really nicely over an hour or so (I was distracted from my drinking, usually it's all gone quicker than that). — 10 years ago
This is a favorite at the house. One of the best champagnes I have had by far. — 12 years ago

Smooth, easy to drink with or without food. — 7 years ago
Looooooved this. So bouncy and so pine-y! I drank it cold, like past the point of chilled, because no wine fridge or central air, and I thought it was perfect that way? — 8 years ago
Fresh, slightly green (stems?), primary. Warm fermentation? Quite lean on the palate. A bit more fruit would help. Very clear but a bit lacking in beauty or lushness. — 10 years ago
Stinky, reductive, needs lots of air & time to breath. Funky cab franc which many won't like. — 11 years ago
A little harsh but a good harsh. Fruity/warty taste and smell. Danie isn't a fan. — 12 years ago
If I'm going to a Moscato, this is my favorite. Sweet, w/o being too sweet, fruity and crisp. It really is delicious. — 13 years ago

1st time to drink Marco Felluga’s reds. Loved the balance of the fruit and how approachable it was to drink. Quite impressed!! — 7 years ago
