Lovely Pinot, showing tension and restraint. Delicate red berry fruits, as well as some savoury elements and a hint of oak sweetness. elegant tannin structure and balanced acidity that really holds the wine together. Excellent wine which will undoubtedly improve with age. — 9 years ago
— 10 years ago

Выпито 01.04.19 в Dana complex . Безумный, нежный и очень минеральный совиное блан из долины Марльборо. — 7 years ago
Aromas bounding out of the glass. Hay, fresh cut grass, grapefruit, and lemon rind. Sav Blanc on steroids. Fresh and tropical mouthfeel - lime zest, citrus and grassy flavors. Solid acidity, classic New Zealand. — 7 years ago
Favourite from the Waimea Estate. Full and fruity, taste lasts long on the palate. — 8 years ago
Tasted this beauty of an age released Pinot gris over looking the Marlborough Sounds from a buddies batch, sitting next to two gorgeous French girls and a meat, cheese, and olive platter fit for a Prince. Dunno if this skewed my vote but it could be the best P.G. ever produced. ^^ — 10 years ago
Delicious. Balanced. Smooth. Creamy. Juicy. Complex without being OTT. Not too limey. Best Pinot Gris we’ve found. — 7 years ago
Another excellent Tobin James everyday wine. Aromas of fruit and berries, inky black, well balanced. Very nice — 7 years ago

Not bad. Light bodies, maroon translucency against light. Dried cherries with black pepper. Tannins roll off the tongue. Not bad. Would be great with a balsamic reduction sauce and steak. — 8 years ago

Sauv Blanc actually. Smells of baked golden apples, grapefruit, wood, and toast on the nose. Dried apples and candied lemon peel on the palate with notes of vanilla custard lingering on the finish. Goes well with most food. Slightly over-oaked in my opinion but a good value — 6 years ago
