An easy everyday Bordeaux as it’s affordable. Very fruit forward with spice but finish is lacking. — 4 years ago
Really enjoyed this, had it with grilled turbot — 5 years ago
Top 5 for me. Let it open up, so good! Way better than regular Caymus. Drinks like a big boy wine — 6 years ago
The cabernet cousin to one of my favorites. First time I have seen this. In the house style of big extracted fruit, supple tannins, and high but well hidden ABV. Would seek out again but if not there is always Blue Eyed Boy. — 7 years ago
Whoa. Big Toro. Down Toro. Great on open. Held up for over an hour but now getting flabby. Expected. It’s a big boy with a lot of power and not enough tannins ti keep it together. But I like. #psa #drinkfast — 4 years ago
Just will say that it is near perfect with a peppery steak. — 5 years ago
Almost a 91. But a bit short. Peaches and dried nuts. A little on the viscous side and to be honest with you I really didn't know what to expect. Leaner towards the finish. If I saw this on a discount for $40, I'd buy a couple of bottles. Rearding longevity, I just don't think this one is getting any better in the bottle, so might as well drink it now. — 6 years ago
Bright, nice tannns and finish, earthy, luscious mouthfeel. Curious how it might develop. — 6 years ago
High at 16% natural taste Anita loved it — 4 years ago
Nice, dry. Unoriginal but pleasant enough. Wouldn’t complain if I was served it, but wouldn’t seek it out. Purchased via Naked. — 4 years ago
A very nice wine after 12 years in the bottle. Still lots of fruit, not over extracted, dark cherry, cassis, leather, tobacco. Agreed, it is more similar to a French style wine. — 5 years ago
Out with my boy, Mo, so old world in the house. Nose displays cow shit and cedar.
Palate is youthful. Tannins are integrated, acid is slightly out of balance - too much. Nice notes of cherry, cardamom and saddle leather. 99 wasn’t a great vintage, so under the circumstances, this is a good effort. Not going to evolve to a better place in my opinion. — 6 years ago
Always yummy. Raisins, pepper and black cherry. — 7 years ago

Big and bold but polite. So very pleasant. All the plums, cherries you want with a side of vanilla. — 4 years ago
