Nice obscure varietal from piedmont...Chablis-like in weight and mineral just a touch more citrus — 6 years ago
The nose showed hints of raw almond with young mango, peach, apple and crushed stone. On the palate, I found a fresh and almost savory expression. It lacked the fruit concentration of other Nascetta, but made up for it with structure, pretty inner florals, a spritz of mineral-infused lime and salinity. The finish was long with saline-minerality and residual notes of lime. Wow! #collisioni17 #Nascetta — 7 years ago

Vitigno autoctono poco conosciuto, solo 1000 bottiglie prodotte, davvero un vino interessante, con tanti profumi ed un'acidità che lo rende interessante soprattutto nei prossimi anni — 9 years ago
Just the coolest wine. Citrus, cream, lime, so so aromatic. Grapefruit. Pink grapefruit. Lanolin. Smells like a bath and body store. Orange zest, white pepper and herbal! Palate is bone dry and structured with insane purity. Long finish that is grippy, herbal and elegant. Just a stunning wine. This is even better than the 19. Just so complex and has red wine character even though it’s a white wine. Super juicy and concentrated. This is magnificent! — 3 years ago
An indigenous white from Langhe, I think this is my first time trying Nascetta. In the Nebbiolo dominated Piedmont, that’s not surprising. My Barolo meter is well tuned. My Nascetta palate.... not so.
I’m blown away here, though. This bottle is shockingly sharp with a creamy twist at the end that harmonizes the intense tropical fruits with a (non-sweet) honey glaze.
It’s that moment in the evening when you sit down on the couch after a long productive day. Self satisfied comfort wine. — 4 years ago
Piedmont wine tasting: medium straw, glints of green, medium+ viscosity • aromatic, grapefruit, tropical fruit, lees, white pepper, white flowers• medium+ body, nice texture and weight, wet gravel, 13.5% ABV • made from 100% Nascetta, aged 6 months in stainless steel with frequent lees stirring • $38 — 5 years ago
On the first day lots of apple dominating. On the second day, so mellow and refined, with elegant character and melon overtones. — 7 years ago
Bright like Vognier, oily in composition, butterly like Chardonnay. Red Wine lover White wine in Burolo — 8 years ago
Interesting grape, lovely. — 9 years ago
Thought I’d start #drinksatantonios with this white wine made from Nascetta by Diego Conterno in Monforte d’Alba. It’s a luminous green-gold and has refreshing aromatics with grapefruit and other citrus fruit to the fore. It’s rounded out by lightly toasted almonds and it’s fresh on the palate but with nice weight and body. A really good example of this little known grape! — 4 years ago
Mag. I’ll admit to never having tried or even heard of Nascetta before. It does taste very Piedmont, somewhat akin to a Roero Arneis maybe. Clean and refreshing, melon and a hint of tropical fruit, a little fresh grass, a saline or flinty quality. Seems like it could be pretty interesting with age — 6 years ago
