Dark, inky color. Smooth. Chocolate, plum. Solid choice. — 4 years ago
Still drinking nice, glad we kept the second bottle for longer. Lots of fruit left on it still. Lovely. — 6 years ago
Opening the bottle to breathe the subtle oakiness hits you with some spiciness and a hint of dark fruit. Tasting it made my mouth dance. It is smooth with very little tannins. Mind you, merlots are my last choice, however this one sat around long enough to be very good. — 8 years ago
As I poured this wine the smell of roses hit my nose, with a swish of light-bodied wine in the cup. The palate was quenched with sweet ripe blackberry flavors and juicy zest — 4 years ago
This 15’ bottling is delightful. Cherry, raspberry, rose petal, light vanilla, dried mushroom, and lightly roasted coffee beans. Mouth watering acidity and elegant tannins. Finesse.
For a regular Barolo, my choice would be a Massolino or Vietti. To me, they can be enjoyed young (relatively speaking) or aged for a decade of two. — 5 years ago
Wine from our Fredericksburg trip. From 4.0??? — 7 years ago
Super tasty. Cranberry and black fruit. Softening tannins. I got the prime NY steak to pair with this, which was a smart choice. — 7 years ago

Don’t normally pick Petite Sirah as a choice but this was descent. Has a jammy start and a nutty finish. Fruit forward. Thin but good legs. I would drink again. 2017 vintage — 5 years ago
Always a good choice. — 5 years ago
Light and crisp with lots of pear and floral notes. Good acidity, but creamy as well. A good choice for a food pairing. Though made with equal parts white and red grapes, it tastes almost like a blanc de blanc. — 6 years ago
Solid, safe choice. — 7 years ago
