Terrific Barolo, definitely decant but not robbing the cradle too too bad. Tar and roses, baby. — 9 years ago

Best execution from Cali of a top burgundy. All seafood menu and it was perfect. If you rob the cradle, decant early ... Last taste will be the best. Keep for your 2020 fete. — 10 years ago

Cuvée Le Berceau St. Joseph Syrah 2005

Roel van der Burg
9.3

Made in the central part of Saint-Joseph, on the steepest hill (above the village of Mauves) with granite soil (just like Hermitage) from 90+ year old vines. The name of the vineyard is called simply 'Saint Joseph'. This is the original part of the appellation. In other words 'Le Berceau' (the cradle). Powerful wine, dark fruit, smoked meats. On the bold side of the spectrum, but damn great. — 9 years ago

Beckstoffer To-Kalon Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon

This was the Beckstoffer To-Kalon 2010, an uber juicy; chewy cherry skin, nicely wound, fruit rich wine that we robbed from the cradle.
Drink in 2015... if you can wait - 91 points.

Gigglepot Cabernet Sauvignon 2011

May be my favorite of all the Molly's on its range. Having it with some good ribeyes and it is blossoming by the second. Nose-coating rich cherry that just flows onto the palate with grace backed with oodles of horsepower. The mid-palate oozes stewed cherry, cassis, and that distinctive Mollydooker signature extraction. Yum. Ville. — 12 years ago

Cayuse Vineyards

En Cerise Vineyard Syrah 2013

A friend took one for the team by pulling the cork way too soon on this one. Extremely tight and closed down, suggest you let these sleep for a few years. Rating this on potential. Great structure. Typical En Cerise terroir, this will be great a few years from now. @Dag Zapatero likes them young, but this was robbing the cradle. — 9 years ago
