"Odedi"

Dark ruby in color with a purplish rim.

Fruity nose with black cherries, oak, earth, raisins, dried figs, vanilla, licorice, cloves, cedar, light vegetables, mint, graphite, tobacco, chocolates, coffee and peppercorn.

Full bodied, smooth and bold, with medium plus acidity and long long legs.

Dry and extremely fruity on the palate with blackberries, sweet cherries, oak, strawberry pie, coffee, vanilla, licorice, cloves, cinnamon, tobacco, leather, earth, light vegetables, herbs and peppercorn.

Medium plus on the finish with fine grained tannins and tangy cranberries.

This is a very tasty Red from Italy. Not fully balanced yet, but already very enjoyable by itself or with food. Showing nice complexity and a great mouthfeel.

This 11 year old Amarone, needs a few more years in the bottle to mature and balance itself out.

Good right out of the bottle and better and better with time as it needs 3 hours to open up properly and show some tannins.

15% alcohol by volume.

90 points.

$55.

Exotic for me. Wonderful complexity and acid balance made this wine snappy, even at 15% alc. Raisin flavors complexed with ripe purple and black fruits. Spice notes.

Fantastic Italian red. Bolder than most Italian reds. European earthy but rich flavors. Awesome nose. Unique.

Very nice with a heaping bowl of cheesy pizzoccheri; an absolutely perfect winter combo.
