I thought it tasted great! I can taste lots of fruity flavors. It’s sweet, but not too sweet. I really enjoyed it. — 9 years ago

Love dis wine &&& it's PINK!!! — 14 years ago
Smokey nose. Palate is great. Lovely rich fruit. Big acidity nice density on the palate. Pure as pure lemon zest. Wow. Like the best ever. There’s some indescribable savory thing going on that’s just bloody awesome. Lovely internal aromatics. Savory finish with a brisk acidic zing. Wow. This is a winery to watch and stock up on before the inevitable fame, price doubling and allocation game. Bought from Fass Selections. — 8 years ago

Very nice - nicely fruity on the nose, medium to full bodied, just a hint of sweetness, excellent acid and a nice long finish. Had at Auberge d'Ill. — 10 years ago

Got this on a close out from a distributor. Excellent everyday Spatlese. Pear, citrus, apricot; with great acidity and only 8% alcohol. At $6 a bottle, this is our house white for the next 6 months! — 8 years ago
Perfect and inexpensive for those who like sweet red - comes in single serve bottles — 8 years ago
One the nose, ruby, ripe wild dark berries, black plum, black tea, dark, rich, moist, soil, baking spices, dark chocolate and fresh & dry dark florals. The mouthfeel is big and lush (Parker wine). The tannins are round and beautiful. Wild blackberries, black plum, plum, dark liqueured cherries, black raspberries, dark chocolate, mocha powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla, dark rich black soils, stones, soft leather, dry stems, crushed dry rocks and a touch of black licorice. Finishes nice young. Big lush fruits, 50-50 fruit and earth. Acidity is nice and round. Nice wine for those that love big fruity wines. But personally, I miss the pre 2012 style of Caymus wines. Fruit flavors on the nose, but no oak. Flavors of sweet tobacco and cherry seem to be most pronounced. There is also a juicy blackberry flavor paired with black current. The flavors all work together well without overpowering another. The wine is extremely well balanced leading to a very smooth feel. The tannins are mellow and there is a small little bite on the end. Overall this is an excellent wine from an excellent winemaker and one not to miss. For drinkers looking to try a more expensive bottle but worry it's not with it, this is a great choice to calm your fears. Just make sure to properly decant. — 10 years ago
Light and fruity. I don't usually like a sweet white, but this one just borders my too sweet tolerance. My white wine guest seem to like it too! Will purchase again to keep it chilled for future guest, and myself! — 11 years ago
Very sweet and fruity. Had a taste of peach. Great for something different. — 12 years ago

Needs an hour decant at least at this point. My guess is it needs 2 years to really strut its stuff. A baby Hercules. Incredible coiled power at this point. You can feel it more than taste it. Incredible spice. Lemon pith. Mineral. Petrol. Really saturates the palate. Hints of green Apple but mere hints. Has a weight like Kellers hubacker but more restrained. Almost like really really great meursault. A new Star is born. Stock up. — 8 years ago
