Beautiful & clean. — 6 years ago
Was lucky to be invited by Raj and the Evening Land crew to dinner tonight to taste through some of the old wines side by side with the new releases. Before and after we tasted some of Raj and Sashi’s favorite wines and champagnes. This was one of the best wines I’ve ever tasted in my life. Completely transcendent, inspiring, one of a kind, amazing, perfect, fruit, acid, alcohol, tannin, structure, salinity, gorgeous. I can’t believe it, I’m never going to be happy with any bottle of wine I ever produce... — 7 years ago
Not at all like an Austrian riesling. This was restrained, aromatic and minerally tinged. — 5 years ago
My style. High toned and limey but with juicy sweetness bringing it back down to earth.
I could drink this all day long. Lip smacking and snappy. 11.5% alc. — 6 years ago
Vintage 2015 on Magnum format.
Nice wine and very enjoyable. Probably drunk too young. — 8 years ago
I don't know who would rate this 8.6, but this is one of the most important orange wines that is on the market today. This smells like a Turkish Delight. It is so powerfully delicate and nuanced. So much thoughtfulness in this wine. It's clearly made by someone who has a singular path. — 8 years ago
Crispy 🍑 with citruses, zesty & balanced entry level, which performed gratefully paired with home made Carsar's salat. — 9 years ago
Could be mistaken for a Mersault. Very precise and lifted nose. Discrete reduction. Juicy mid palate that is almost like a top condrieu. — 5 years ago
Unusual Grunee Veltliner with grassy nose — 6 years ago
Stoked to find 08 vtg of this at Drgrs in half btl. Love the weight, comexity and density it developed. Got to taste their more recent stuff the day prior at WS Top100. — 8 years ago
