This bottle has been lying quietly for a couple of years. A nice balance of fruit, acid and tannins. Love in a bottle. ♥️🍷 — 6 years ago
Summerlicious sippin’ Rose! Well balanced with slight acidity - notes of citrus and grapefruit. Definitely my kind of rose! — 7 years ago
Opened up a little funny with some top of bottle sediment, but with air got a lot better. A pretty rich almost funky pinot — 5 years ago
Smooth and long furnish, probably not totally worth the price though... — 7 years ago

Out of the two Auberts from 2012 I tasted today, this one seemed to be a little 'funkier.' Definitely served colder than the Larry Hyde, this wine seemed to be in a weird place to me. The nose showed some melon characteristics, but also had a hay barn kind of nose (sans nitrogen). Definitely more raucous than the Larry Hyde even on the entry. This note carried to the entry, but then the silky nature of this one took over. The middle of this wine was purly honeydew, melon, mango. Finish was pretty full, good acidity, still showing the power of youth here. 93 for sure, as was the Larry Hyde for different reasons altogether. I cannot say that one of these beat the other, as they were really good in their own rights. — 8 years ago
For centuries now, the luscious, bright, all-encompassing delight of Champagne has been used to toast happy occasions. Often times a decent bubbly does the trick, but other times, something grander deserves to be poured.
Dom Pérignon (named after the monk who put Champagne on the map), a 2000 vintage. It's the kind of Champs one drinks upon making the decision that wine is not just a hobby, not just a passion, but a career. — 9 years ago
