I gotta say this is my pleasant surprise of the year. Relatively low expectations going in but this is much more complex than anticipated. Candied red fruit, earth, and herbs on the nose, full body of raspberries, baking spice, and a tiny green veg finish. Perfect level of tannin. For me, this was a super fun find. — 9 years ago

This is a 2007 petite sirah from Mr. T's Vineyard in the Suisun Valley. Bold floral notes with black fruits and a touch of pepper while the palate confirms the nose and adds some tart red plums to the mix. An older-than-usual petite sirah that was quite good and paired well with the variety of dishes we had tonight.
