This is a great charmes. Very often disappointed in this vinyard as I think most of it should not be grand cru. This wine has a beautiful nose, full fruit a bit austere. Le Moine as usual a great job. — 7 years ago
Found this lovely vinyard in southern Colorado last summer. Beautiful spot. Love the wine. — 7 years ago

It’s my favorite Riesling. Inexpensive, very fruity, very balanced, very nuanced. I’m currently drinking the 2015 vintage of this wine.
Note to the Editors:
The Vinyard is in BADEN, not Mosel, Saar or Ruwer.

버건디 different producers own different parts of a vinyard. (도메인/자기만의 vineyard는 소유하고 메종/buy grapes from other people and make wine) - 그 지역에서 나온건 다 빌리지, 그 안에서 빈야드를 갈린다. — 6 years ago
ALLEN VINYARD は飲み頃が早めな印象。このヴィンテージ(1996)はギリギリ枯れてなく、熟成感×酸が格別!!! — 7 years ago
Well made vougeot exhibiting an elegance rarely found in this vinyard. Fresh, good acidity, fwd fruit. Lacking “ampleur” — 8 years ago

Delightful wine, seeing the other tasting notes I wonder how many people took the time decant the wine in a wide based carafe or a developing decanter an hour or more before drinking? full bodied and hearty for st julien, nice casis and lovely tannin expression and went beautifully with rack of lamb, cheese mash and ratatouille. Still young, but with balance and racy if not long finish. Excellent value and overjoyed that I had the foresight to buy 6 for autumnal drinking. 7 % of beautiful petit verdot from leoville poyferre main vinyard that showed fantastic maturity but simply wasn't needed for the grand vin, together with 30% of the grand vin fruitwent into this and it shiws with spice from the excellent petit verdot and extra depth and complexity from that 30% grand vin. Great wine and the site is now it's own separate vineyard. If you didnt decant this wine at its current stage of evolution then do not rate it. Great value and crying out for food. Hungry again for lamb now. — 9 years ago

2013 Janzen Beckstoffer Missouri Hopper Vineyard
Opened a bottle of 2013 Janzen Beckstoffer Missouri Hopper Vineyard Cab by Bacio Divino Cellars. The vineyard is situated north of Yountville. Dense and rich in the glass yet approachable in early days. I would like to revisit this in several years. I had the similar impression when I tried a bottle of 2014 Melka CJ Napa Cab Blend.

Tonight we are relaxing with a fine Willamette Valley Pinot Noir the 2014 Arterberry Maresh Maresh Vinyard Dundee Hills Pinot Noir. I'm loving the Willamette Valley Pinot's more and more each time I open one. Being compared to Burgundy and with every bottle I open goes to prove this to be true.
Arterberry Maresh is one of the oldest vineyards in the Willamette Valley with root stock over 40 years old.
On the nose is plush velvety fruit of bing cherry, cranberry, raspberry, vanilla, clove, truffles and some real nice earthy notes.
The nose is confirmed with tart cherry, cranberry, raspberry, clove, vanilla, mushrooms, and earthy notes.
The wine is well balanced accrossed the board with a medium to full supple bodied mouthfeel. Medium + acidity making the mouth water leaving you wanting more, fine mouth coating tannins with a.long unending finish that lasts well into the next sip.
Have a safe and enjoyable rest of the week. Nostrovia! 🍷🍷🍷🍷 — 8 years ago
