Takes me back to Marques de Riscal and the Frank Gehry designed hotel - go there if you haven’t been! — 5 years ago
Pairs well with Paella. Good balance of fruit and tannins. Nothing too exciting. — 7 years ago
Incredible nose. Fresh in the mouth, really enjoyable. — 7 years ago
My second time tasting this wine. Wow was it showing well with living red fruit. The fruit was complex, rich, and wise. The complexity and length were incredibly long. This was as smooth as it gets. Even the core was still slightly red. #marquésderiscal #rioja #1911 #spain #ctbucklinwine — 9 years ago

Flavorful Castilian Verdejo, served with pasta (NHSLS) — 2 years ago
If I had rated this one the night I opened it, I would have given it a slightly lower score. At first, I caught aromas of leather and meat drippings and flavors of sundried tomatoes. A couple of nights later, the wine had opened up nicely and had more floral and spice aromas and flavors of red berries and earth. Needless to say, an interesting wine, indeed. And from the Canary Islands! Huh. 90% Listan Negro, 10% Castellana Negra. 9/1/22. — 3 years ago
Just beautiful, needs a decant to develop fully but worth it. Silky smooth — 5 years ago
sherry style — so good — 6 years ago
Häststall, oxiderad doft, slaget gräs, gul grape, bokna äpplen, oströv, sherry. Hög syra, apelsinzest, hö, mineral, nötter, bivax och svettig ostbit i smaken. Annorlunda och gott. Bara några timmars skalkontakt men ändå påtagligt gyllengul färg. — 7 years ago
