Green Cap which is off dry which is the super sleeper category at Molitor. Might be the best of the green/gold and white. Yea, I said it. Stunning nose of slate, lime flesh, lime sweet tart, huge slate, just so good. Palate is so juicy, so vibrant, so alive and just bursting with lime fruit and has ridiculous personality. Really elegant. Salty, crunchy and structured. A remarkable wine and value. Super long. So close to a 9.5. Maybe it is one? Let air determine. — a year ago
— 4 years ago

Loved it! Don't understand the name, but after the cork was out it was fantastic! — 10 years ago
Normally I’m not a big fan of Molitor, as I find his style a bit too petrol’y for my taste.
But this Saar Riesling just shines - weightless and completely effortless but with such precision and mineral depth. Beautifully poised & balanced with shy white peach and lemons and a mineral slatey backbone with a touch of spice towards the finish.
Such a nice wine! — 10 months ago
The good stuff. Aged wonderfully. Still strong acidity. Love it. — 6 years ago

Really nice acid and pretty aromatics. Lots if honey, peach, apricots and cream. Enough acidity to keep it clean. — 9 years ago
Bright and juicy. Lots of green apple, grapefruit, and lemon candy. — 11 years ago
Nose is the apogee of elegant richness. Blind I might guess god’s condrieu. A touch of honey. Gorgeous.
Palate is honey. Minerals. Some other gorgeous stuff I can’t describe. Still so elegant. Rainwater of the gods.
As this aerates the internal aromatics are nectar like. Honey made from nectarine flowers.
Finish lingers like a lovers sweet kiss at dawn. — 2 years ago

One of the best producers in the Mosel area for sure. This is to young to drink now but I tasted this at the winery. They served me the wine at 10°. The lady said: sorry that he is so cold. Wait a few minutes. But that development was so interesting! I thanked her for serving it this way! ☺️ — 7 years ago
Perfect summer light drinking. Also pairs well with fried chicken :) — 8 years ago
The pale golden straw color is appealing, while the nose certainly isn’t scaring anyone away. Clean earth notes define the apple, papaya and lime aromas beautifully. The palate shows off-dry pear, apple and Meyer lemon flavors on a bed of acidity. Finishing long, it’s the earth and citrus that stays around after the sip. The wine’s body makes it a lot more versatile that just “salads and sipping.” Winemaker Markus Niggli recommends you pair it with anything off the grill. — 8 years ago
