I got this bottle at the Domaine last year. A chat with a super focused Nicolas Ragot in the middle of a super clean chai left me a great impression. The wine is showing precision and balance. 08’ Was a very good vintage. It holds up to the 05 & 02.
The nose is somewhat restrained. Don’t let that fool you. The palate, lushness(when it warms up)with apples, intense mineral core. Great structure & balance. The rather high acidity & fruit play nicely together.

Floral summer drink flowery fragrance on the nose, mostly dry, but with hints of fruit, the color of red chai. Dry finish lasts long, but it refreshes for lot longer. Serve slightly chilled. Love it! — 5 years ago
