Very esoteric red from Gaillac from a minuscule one hectare plot: light bodied, see thru darkish garnet color with red fruit (strawberry & raspberry) then veered toward tart (cranberry) with a real wild side of savage forest spice pepper herbaceous green accented aromas. Lively tangy acidity, angular & fairly smooth thru finish. Interesting intriguing - reminded me of some domestic Norton & Chambourcin I’ve had. *Imported by an old friend - proprietor of Wine Traditions - who brings in very good juice from some far flung regions all over France
