$313 bottle of opus one sat waiting in our wine cooler for 4 years (cost less than $200 then). Gentlemen at the winery told us 7 years would make for optimum drinking but could hold on for 15+ yrs. celebrating the new year so we opened it exactly 7 years later. Definitely needed time to breathe and open up but really enjoyed this Cali Bordeaux blend. Not super big/dark or highly tannic like some reviews stated but rather easy to drink in my opinion :) — 11 years ago
Really good, light and easy to drink. Had with chicken stir fry at Andrew's. Definitely would buy again. — 11 years ago

In the name of research, a quick test to mark this young Super Tuscsan. I must say the first sip after decant is promising. I believe in time, this will be a great Tig that will show well. Nice dark currant with hint of smoke. Will lay the others down 5-7 more years. — 7 years ago
Very good, with the taste of oak barrel... — 8 years ago
Solera vintages: 2005-2013, Dégorgement: 01/2016, Dosage: 0-4g/l, All 7 Cépage, this is so interesting, screaming acidity, beautiful development & layers of complexity, outstanding wine. — 9 years ago

Prefer the 6 to the 7, but it’s splitting hairs - they’re both great. Could smell this 5 feet away, tremendous structure and will only get better. — 7 years ago
