Crisp but not too citrusy, some vanilla (or fig?). Nicely paired with lobster chowder. — 8 years ago
Excellent drinking with lobster. — 8 years ago
Man, I love this wine. My 2nd time having the 2004, and it's just stellar. I wrote down cinnamon and sweet/pastry/tart (in a very good way)...and went to look at my old review, which said cinnamon and key lime. Well damn, how's that for consistency! — 10 years ago

From a 3 liter, about 10 years after "PD" suggested it was to be at its best. (This was a gift from my 21st birthday and the cork was beginning to show seepage so time to drink!). Seriously good stuff. The boozy side of Zin has settled, the structure and savory notes of the Petite Sirah and Mataro are emerging. Looking forward to this with grilled meat, lobster and whatever else we can cook up outside. @ridgevineyards #legend — 10 years ago

Hint of apple on the nose. A little sweetness and hazelnuts on the palate. Perfect with lobster salad. — 11 years ago

Lots of fun bottles were popped at Al’s hosting this past weekend for his birthday celebration. All were served blind. 1 sparkler, 2 whites, 6 reds and 1 dessert wine.
This was en mag. WOW. Slightly cloudy in the glass. My first guess when looking at it was Marcassin, but it wasn’t waxy enough on the palate. Smelled of rich lemon cream, powdered lemon bars and juicy fruit (that should always be my key to guessing PM). A powerhouse on the palate with juicy tropical fruits, marshmallow, and sweet marzipan. Gorgeous stuff. I called this 2012 Aubert Ritchie. — 7 years ago
Sweet. Pretty lime-y. Tastes like Florida. — 9 years ago
Wine of the session at Kay brothers. Smart and vibrant winemaking, great fruit clarity and really shows how good mclaren Grenache can be. — 10 years ago

Buttery and creamy. One of the best Chards in my book and pairs fantastically with any and all seafoods!!! New Year's Day with lobster and drawn butter was outstanding!!! — 10 years ago
Chablis meets Meursault with a fuller lean into each Chablis side. The most elegant of the 3 whites Tasted today including 2012 Napa Valley White Blend and 2012 Ribolla Gialla. Full on minerality and fluidly intense acids. Excellent on its own, should be epic with a sole meuniere or butter poached lobster. — 11 years ago
Out of magnum. Rich as always. Perfect with the lobster tonight. Driving minerality. A really. Big Sancerre — 11 years ago
Simple and clean. Perfect for a sunny, winter day, with a lobster roll. — 11 years ago
II’ve loved all the Sandhi 2012 range of whites & this £65 S&B is superb 👍 Paired with enough curry to get a small village going regular for a week 🤣 💨 sorry I didn’t take pics of that feast 😁

Nice citrus notes—lemon and key lime. Petrol, rubber. Crisp acidity. Really well balanced right now. — 8 years ago
A. 2012 vintage. June 2018. It was very good but not what I wanted with my lobster — 8 years ago
Peach Apricot and citrus with some mineral presence. A little bitterness on the after taste but great to pair with scallops or lobster — 8 years ago
Great minerality, lemon, key lime pie like. — 10 years ago

Definitely grapefruit on the palate...crisp, great with spicy food. I would try this again with seafood. — 11 years ago
