Y Ygrec Sémillon-Sauvignon Blanc Blend

Beautiful nose. Found it tart and sweet at the same time... in a good way... like sweet and sour is good.

The aromatic complexities are head spinning and the texture feels as a luxurious sweet sauternes .

Heavy on the SB especially on the nose. Quite nice given I’m not a huge SB fan.

My favorite white Bordeaux, my favorite vintage is 2015, but 2016 is not bad at all

My favorite Bordeaux blanc, smell all the tropical fruit, peach apricot etc. perfect time to drink the 2016. It wasn’t ready 2 years ago but now is perfect!

Homemade lobster pasta needed a match and it found it. This is evolving to be a very nice rendition of the Ygrec with subtle crispness of the Sauvignon and the floral goodness of the Semillon. Will keep the other bottles for a few more years

Lovely Bordeaux blend at Martins in key west

A nose like you’d hope for on any classic white. Tropical fruits burst from the finish and it rounds out with stone fruit. Anniversary lunch kicked off well

SB and Semillion, notes of petrol, yellow, stone, and tropical fruit.
