Great Canary Islands wine, bought it at Dry Dock and drank in the Catskills with Pat and Katie. Drank with steak. — 4 years ago
Volcano Essence. Indigenous variety from Canary Islands. Fruity, Peppery and mineral. Bold and complex. Honest and intriguing . Rare and singular... Medium weight with mid to high tannins and balanced acidity. This is a serious wine for serious drinkers. This is a trip into tradition and knowledge. Masterfully crafted in Abona. — 4 years ago
Funky blackberries, loved it with smoked lamb — 6 years ago
Sumptuous but fresh, saline and volcanic skin contact beaut from the canaries. Probably needs a little time to soften. — 6 years ago
Oh what a 2+ hour decant will do. This sings much clearer. High toned, but integrated tannins, crushed red fruits & that amazing volcanic thread, and, made by a woman vintner- thus better. I hope I can age a few of these. — 6 years ago
Noce- different for a Malbec — 8 years ago
Wine from Gran Canaria's "badlands" -- violets, juicy juice, nice kick at the end. Can do with a slight chill below cellar and even more stellar with food from the grill. — 9 years ago
