Light oak, refreshing, not too heavy, not usually a huge Chardonnay fan, but love this wine. — 10 years ago

A little tight, but taste like cherry cola. Could use a good decanting, but I am impatient. — 6 years ago

Big. Bold. Juicy. Wow. This was fantastic. I found myself slowly sipping to preserve my glass as long as possible — 7 years ago

Vinnie and I feel like Lewis could arguably be the best winemaker out there period. So so so good. Hadn't ever had the Hillstone - we had been saving this one - wowzers — 10 years ago

Gold apple, lemon custard, candied ginger and tropical fruit. Hints of marzipan and twill cookie wrapped up in a creme brulee-like texture — 6 years ago
Ratings are biased by the logo. Again this is a wine that would fetch 91 or 92 if served blind. Crisp front with green apple and a little bit a Buttah. The middle is a little more hefty, melon and honeydew. Finish is acidic. Lots of activity going on here. Wine went well with a Caesar salad and cheese. Better when served colder and without acoutrement. Our winner of the whites during the last visit. Great QPR. — 8 years ago
