Ried Scheiben Erste Lage Grüner Veltliner

A simple wine but just worked so well with asparagus. Great fruit and cleansing acidity. — 7 days ago

Wagramterrassen Riesling 2015

Wow, what a surprise! This is truly beautiful stuff. Squeezed lemon, wet rocks, some exotic fruit (mango, peach). Good length, this one is great table company. — 5 years ago

Scheiben Wagram Roter Veltliner 2021

Smells like a German/Austrian wine, similar to Riesling. Powerful aromas, lemon peel and something floral that comes through in taste. Tart acidity, medium body, peach and apricot taste and texture. A perfect pairing for Christmas Eve Austrian Dinner! — 6 months ago

Wagram Roter Veltliner 2017

This Roter V exceeded my hopes. This has all the alluring aromas of a GV but minus the green aspects of “radish and pepper”. In his place is the most delicate pink cotton candy fruit combined with the richness and complexity I was expecting from this rare Austrian variety. From what I can tell it is not genetically related to Gruner Veltliner but I would encourage you to dig into that research. This is delightful and served cold... I have a new favorite inquiry. — 5 years ago

This is good stuff. Pretty much textbook Gruner. If you like your Gruner lean and tart, you’d probably like this. — 3 years ago

Terrassen Grüner Veltliner 2015

First impression is this is like Riesling. Sweet and sour, but fruity is more than Riesling. It would match with a bit spicy cuisine. Slightly bitter. @, Vinsenble, 190815 — 6 years ago
