Pop and pour. I like my Viognier a little more floral. That being said, this is still a ovely example. On the nose: soft herbs, pollen, maybe soft dried wildflowers. This smell and tastes more Northern Rhône than the vast majority of Walla Walla Syrahs I’ve had. Nose is smoky, iron-y, bloody, with spicy sharp blackberry in the background.
