Such nice and different type of Gamay character than in Beaujolais. Graphite, granite, dark berries, cocoa, with a juicy mineral and deep palate. Toothsome as they say with slabs of granitic minerality on the palate. A terrific value.

This is still an ass- kicking wine. Big, bold, Stoney, not your daddy’s gamay. Has that intense candied cherry mouth, but in a sophisticated way. Awesome stuff.

Jun 29th, 2019Kind of fleshy and way big for your usual gamay. Stony and cherry- like. On night 3 the syrupy cherry and candy- like qualities came through.
