#1000th Review# One of my all time favorite, this can easily crush many Amarone. Very young, no signs of tertiary notes at all. Sweet and warm spices, raisin, sweet cherries, mocha, dark chocolate and bright acidity. Best on day 2, very smooth texture. 15% abv and it’s well balanced. Wish I have more in the cellar! — 6 years ago

Unfined, unfiltered Beaujolais. 100% Gamay. Not usually my style but I LOVED it. A perfect French bistro wine. 2019. — 5 years ago
High acidity, light, complex aromas — 6 years ago
Tar, raisin, soaked fig, cherry pit, wilted violet, hung meat, boudin noir, leather, cinnamon, cocoa powder, honey, truffle, scorched earth, roasted herbs, camphor, black tea. Wears the vintage well. More moderate frame (relatively speaking) showing some consistent grip throughout, surprised by the acid support this has, makes for a plausible argument about whether or not to continue aging. So tertiary and savory right now. — 6 years ago
