I got this bottle at the Domaine last year. A chat with a super focused Nicolas Ragot in the middle of a super clean chai left me a great impression. The wine is showing precision and balance. Didn’t know what to expect of this. I tend to really enjoy Chenin but haven’t had a sparkling Chenin before. Pretty nice wine. Not as rich or with the depth of a great champagne of course but I am pleasantly surprised. I would but again. — 5 years ago

08’ Was a very good vintage. It holds up to the 05 & 02.
The nose is somewhat restrained. Don’t let that fool you. The palate, lushness(when it warms up)with apples, intense mineral core. Great structure & balance. The rather high acidity & fruit play nicely together.
