Amazing! Just as good as chateau Fontaine — 4 years ago
Last night I opened the 2015 Baer Star Merlot Stillwater Creek Vineyard Columbia Valley. A blend of 87% Merlot and 13% Cabernet Franc.
On the nose there is black cherry, cherry, blackberry, plum, violet, chocolate, allspice and black pepper.
On the palate there is cherry, black cherry, blackberry, red currant, licorice, espresso, and chocolate.
This wine is medium to full bodied with a velvety mouthfeel and medium to + acidity with medium soft fine tannins that leads into a long black fruit finish. The weekend is fat approaching again and lets look forward to having a great weekend. Please stay safe and healthy. Nostrovia! 🍷🍷🍷🍷 — 5 years ago

This is fantastic! Such great balance with rocks/mineral, apples, honeysuckle. Beautiful wine. — 8 years ago
Seemed an appropriate Christmas wine. Can’t rave enough about Kf wines. QPR is a little whack but it delivers. Way too young to open but ran it through the Venturi a few times and it showed really pretty red fruit, elegant wine. Hold for several years before trying again. — 5 years ago
Very smooth and very good... especially for the price. — 6 years ago
An interesting Red blend from Bethlehem.
Medium plus in body with medium acidity and nice long legs.
Tangy finish with medium, round tannins.
Dry on the palate with blackberries, black currants, sweet cherries, vanilla, wood, earth, barnyard, vegetables, spices, smoke and dark coffee.
Soft and smooth and very enjoyable. Feels like an old world wine.
Had it blind and called Austrian red. Wrong.
Made with local grapes grown around the winery. Organic.
13% alcohol by volume.
89 points.

Bold fruit, while still crisp and bright. Good acidity. Tart, yet rich apple. Chalk and apricot. Brine. Best bottle of bubbly from a non-traditional/winery that doesn’t specialize in bubbly that I’ve had. — 7 years ago
Pretty good — 8 years ago
Consistent with notes from @Jason Brater. Went beautifully with charcuterie. — 3 years ago
Black Star Farms ‘Arcturos’ Dry Riesling 2019: Light acidity. Bright fruit. Clean & refreshing taste. Apple. Pear. Apricot. Citrus. Stone. Crisp, off-dry finish. All in all, a beautiful & surprising Riesling from the great state of Michigan. So surprised I had to bring back to my hotel room! Happy Sunday! Cheers🍷 — 4 years ago

The 2014 provides a glimpse into how lucky am I to have worked with incredible vineyards in my short career. Textured, concentrated and fresh. Yes, fresh. Cab should be fresh. — 8 years ago
