Delicious layers of black Cherry and spice with subtle mushroom aromas. Slightly sweet on the palate but the medium tannins balance it well. Drinking well now. — 6 years ago

Interesting blend of 2/3 John Sebastiano vineyard and 1/3 La Encantada. Sassafras, mulberry with darker more brooding fruit and intense spice. A great value. — 9 years ago
La Encantada vineyard, Sta. Rita Hills. Dark, spicy. Not heavy on the mouth. Nice aromatics. Needs a bit more time for oak to integrate. — 11 years ago
Found it a few years late in the storage. That said this is the vineyard formerly owned by Sanford really far west in the Santa Rita Hills and this blend was very good. Lime overtones went better with food than not but I should have pulled the cork a few years ago. — 6 years ago

Bright cherry, vanilla and a little toasty oak. Straightforward and happy. — 7 years ago
