Prestige Rosé stands out for its intense hue whose secret lies in the fact that it is a blend, complex and costly to produce. The blend, 15% of the best Pinot Noir from Montagne de Reims & Les Riceys added to the final blend, giving this cuvée its unique color and intensity. The wine contains Chardonnay (30%) completing the blend bringing elegance to Taittinger’s signature style. Red fruit flavors, a bit tart with strawberry and cherry flavors, elegant ending with chalky minerality notes. Tasting Sample! — 10 years ago

My last 2011 bottle. The estate of Sette Ponti lies in the heart of the Chianti zone, 15 miles northwest of the city of Arezzo, past the village of San Giustino Valdarno. Crognolo, aged in French Allier barriques, deep red with red fruit aromas and sweet perfumed spice. On the palate raspberry and cherry flavors, gentle spice and soft tannins with great mouthfeel. Good balance, lingering finish ending with some oak and mineral tones. Aged well. — 8 years ago

Yes, loads of apricot, raspberry and a hint of fennel on the palate as well as a mineral element that keeps me going back for more — 10 years ago
I loved this when I tried it in Burgundy, and it proved to be really a nice wine after all. Great nose, great balance, a little dirty but in a good way. Totally wish I could buy this in the US. — 10 years ago

Simply top notch Chenin. — 10 years ago
Vintage 2013 - this domaine is situated on a beautiful spot on a hill where you can look far for 30 kilometers nearby Beaulieu sur Layon. This vintage was not so easy, but the winegrowers delivered a fantastic performance. It's not sweet only, but also has nice acidity that makes it a very interesting bottle. Peaches. Sipping Fine Wine
In 1953, Jean Baumard acquired vineyard in Quarts de Chaume, in 1968, purchased substantial acreage in Savennieres. Today Jean’s son, Florent, manages the winery. Aromas of green fruits, floral and flinty notes. On the palate green apple, pear, melon and slight nutty flavors, well balanced with acidity. Medium+ length ending, no fluttering with fresh juicy mineral, just like the butterfly on the label! Will age well if you can resist opening. — 7 years ago
