Bouche attaque un peu sur l alcool et sur l acidite
Milieu un peu aqueux
Finale longue sur l epice mais un peu trop sur l alcool et matière trop tendue
Pour moi un vin doit aller plus loin ici l empreinte du vigneron domine l appelation

This is an excellent example of honey, vanilla, toasted brioche, and very elegant body. Refined bubbles reminiscent of the Dom Ruinart.

1970 Vina Real Riserva Especial Tempranillo. Dinner at Ch Ven w J&L B and J&J D. Still had some fruit on the nose and a beautiful deep ruby color in the glass. Def glad to be drinking now. — 8 years ago

Magnum 1997 Dal Forno Romano Amarone dell Valpolicella. Drank at Reddwood lunch w B&K K, J&L B, and M&R H. Third of the red lineup. Neither K nor I had tasted this before and it was delicious. Enormous and inky. It was just massive both in flavor and how it coated the mouth. Slight sweetness. Very cool to try! — 8 years ago
