Kul liquid candy. Bör sörplas direkt efter att den hällts upp, för den blev lite murrig ju längre den fick stå. Mörka, söta bär. Rosforth. Dracks hemma till pizza. — 9 years ago
Cuvée Le feu sacré — 9 years ago
Wow! We got this one right. Bright acidity, smokey French wood, balanced, elegant, proud of this wine. Parfait avec notre Pot au Feu ce soir. — 9 years ago
“Pierre à Feu is sourced from Vincent's thirty year-old Sauvignon Blanc vines that are planted on the silex (flint and clay) soils that extend east from the Cher River. When I asked why he named the wine Pierre à Feu (French for "flint", or literally, "firestone"), Vincent smiled, "The name 'Silex' was already taken," [by Didier Dagueneau's estate, who produces a similar cuvée of Sauvignon grown on flint and clay; however, the cost of one bottle of Domaine Didier Dagueneau "Silex" is about the same as a six-pack of Domaine Ricard Pierre à Feu.]
In the glass, this shimmering pale yellow-gold Sauvignon Blanc reveals enticing aromas of white grapefruit, bergamot, lemon verbena, and gun smoke, along with apricot, green mango, sage and orange oil, as the nose evolves over time. On the palate, the wine is silky, polished, precise and persistent, with a fine core of yellow-green citrus and exotic fruit flavors that echo the nose, all seasoned with its namesake flinty minerality throughout a seemingly endless finish.” — Moore Brothers — 5 years ago
Dominant green apple flavor, almost cidery, but there’s good depth of flavor, including melon and citrus. Also honeysuckle and a hint of spice, all supported by a nice backbone of mouth watering acidity. — 6 years ago
Had the 2009 vintage in December 2018, paired with “pot au feu”for D’s BD. Was excellent appreciated by all the family. — 7 years ago

Amazing Pinot. Drank with a meal of pot eu feu. Yum — 8 years ago
Reduction on the nose, Sulfur turns to smokiness.
Delicate palate with expressive, deep flavours of fresh berries, cranberries and a beautiful complexity. Meaty, almost animal . A volcanic, smoky finish. Surprisingly refreshing !!! Worth trying over a couple of days.
With seared tuna, pot au feu, pata negra or Iberian ham...

☆ Yamazaky Sherry Cask 2013. Single Malt. 48%. Japan.
A blend of Single Malt from the Yamazaky distilery with 25 years old whisky and some young talent. Matured in sherry oak.
Amazing nose !! Old red wine, cedar wood, cassis jam. Now, Banyuls ! Toasted nuts, dark cacao, dried plum and dried grappe in alcohol, black cherry.
After 30 minutes, ground, dried apricot, orange jam appears.
Splendid !
☆Maison Suntory
Yamazaky Sherry Cask Edition 2013.
Superbe !
Entre 1700 et 2800 euros.
À bientôt.
