Relatively refreshing medium bodied drink with smell and taste of kiwi, apricot, peach, faint green apple and lime. Reminds me of white citrusy fruits. Good drink on hot day — 7 years ago
This is actually the regular wine, not the dry. It’s lovely!!! — 7 years ago
Wow. I’ve had a lot of kiwi SBs in my day but this wine is completely different. Super elegant on the nose, elderflower and hay on the nose with subtle pear skin and muted grapefruit. Med + / med acid toned down and balanced. Ripe citrus turned down to a 6 and a touch of lees to provide structure. Finish is vibrant, clean and strong on the fruit — 8 years ago
Pleasant Valley Pinot Noir that taste like a Grand Cru Burgundy....#badasswine — 8 years ago
Ok... I admit it... this straggler Spanish Albariño lost it’s way in my cellar. 10 years old for a grape not altogether known for longevity... what do I expect? Medium gold in the glass... clear...broken cork. Amazing aroma of pineapple, lychee, and peach. The wine is still alive.. still offering up bright acidity and round weighted fruit. Poured too cold, the aromas intensify as it warms. The wine is rich, round and complex...playing with your palate. I was prepared to dump, had a lessor wine at the ready. But... hell no. This wine rocks. Mr. Perez is often referred to as a trail-blazing maverick...what do I know. The wine is a wonder! — 6 years ago
Just a stunner. Nose is a knockout while still remaining elegant. White flowers, salted water, kaffir lime, white peach, underipe kiwi, maybe even some yellow plum. Great body and pithy pomelo on the palate, along with some kind of herbal simple syrup I’ve tasted before. Not getting as much overt flintiness as previous vintages. Finish brings more creamy orange (creamsicle???) and maybe orange green star notes. Fantastic — 7 years ago
Exactly as described... light AND fruity. Easy to drink. — 7 years ago
I recall that I really enjoyed this wine and that it was really smooth. Don’t recall vintage. — 8 years ago
Juicy and serious with nice flinty minerals. Lime and lenon juice. Good acidity. Gooseberry, kiwi and green apple. Fresh! — 6 years ago
Kiwi, melon, and mushroom. Lightly sweet and softly tinted pink. Good with something a touch spicy. — 6 years ago
The 2015 Harbison Estate ‘The Trail’ Cabernet Sauvignon is a simply magical wine at this young stage in its development. The aromatics of the wine are quite powerful immediately, as the wine showcases mocha, tar and exotic spices with creme de cassis and shades of black tea all entering the fray. Dense and plush, with a chewy mouthfeel and wondrous texture, this silky wine is not only rich but shows great freshness and finesse. Intense creme de cassis, espresso bean, dusty terroir, creosote with minerals all impress on this gratifying palate. An absolute delight to savor in its youth, this beautiful wine will provide drinking enjoyment for decades. Drink 2020-2045- 97 — 6 years ago

Light straw color. Very tight in the nose, even after being open for a couple of hours. Notes of light citrus, kiwi and white flowers. Not much else. High pitched and fruit abundant in the mouth. Light acidity and structure, almost to a flaw. Closed down? Needs more age? Will wait a few years more and check in on this one down the road. — 7 years ago
Loved all the Marietta wines including the rose which is missing. — 8 years ago
Pleasant aromas of grapefruit, kiwi, grass and apple. Flavors of grapefruit, tropical fruits and herbs. Light yellow color and great QPR! Solid wine for the affordable price. — 8 years ago
