I like this wine most people wouldn’t it’s funky kinda primary sorta almost spritzy some bergamot/earl grey tones. Gamay is awesome and how varied it can be. — 8 years ago
Subtle and amazing — 9 years ago
Juicy and bright with plenty of funk. Not at the most "extreme" end of the natural spectrum, but very cloudy with a touch of barnyard at first. — 10 years ago
2009, Julie Balagny, En Remont, Jean Barrat, Fleury, Gamay. No notes, but an excellent Cru Beaujolais. Red fruit, a little spice and a little earthy. Great story about Julie Balagny. Took her dog, got a vineyard, works it all by herself and makes great Cru Beaujolais. — 10 years ago

Apple, floral, citrus, nice refreshing minerality on the finish. — 11 years ago
2000. Side by side with Clos. This came across fresher, younger (label was pristine, as opposed to damp/stained Clos label) with more exoticism but less sheer impact and minerality. — 11 years ago

It’s always a little nerve-racking the first time you invite a date to a favorite restaurant. Is he going to like it as much as you like it? Probably not possible. But then you sit down to wait for him and order yourself a snack and end up chatting with the woman next to you for the 30 mins it takes him to show up and she whips out her OWN bottle of the best wine you’ve had in months, who cares how well the date goes. This wine is simultaneously supple and subtle, and holds its own in a current of too many fish. — 8 years ago
Great Gamay — 9 years ago
Fat and vinous with a balanced edge to it. Obvious and overt aromas/flavors of fruits, dough, honey, sweet citrus/apple notes. Weighty. 70% PN 30% CH 4/2015 disgorgement — 10 years ago
2013 vintage. At Costa Navarino, Greece. Medium lemon hue. On the nose, quite complex - lemon curd, chalky minerality, honeysuckle. On the palate, a little fat, medium acidity, medium plus concentration and fairly long finish. The mineral nature of the wine is more apparent on the mid palate. Very enjoyable. Drink now until 2023+. — 10 years ago

Very good. 100% Carmenere. Complex. — 11 years ago
Excellent 1er cru from Fevre; thought 2008 acids would never soften; well here is one that is; nice linearity and subtle funk from solids during ferment and monumental malo lactic; yoghurt aromas; terrific drink with sashimi tuna doused with marinated orange and roast sesame; 13% #chablis #chardonnay #minerality — 11 years ago
Enjoyed more than most others - rate it well - buy again. — 8 years ago

Muito equilibrado, elegante — 10 years ago
An intoxicating perfume of winter spice. Similarly, Allspice, clove, cinnamon, orange spice, and blackberry on the first taste. Balanced and pure. Unlike any Gamay I've tasted. — 11 years ago
Notes of sour cherry, lemongrass and earth. Love this wine! — 11 years ago
