THE. BEST. DOMESTIC. CHARD!!!!!! Yes, yes, yes. I'm blown away. This is the best domestic chard I've ever drank. This particular vintage is killer. I could poor this in a lineup of top notch Meursault and none would be the wiser, that's how good this is. Intense smoke/funk brought on by minerality that most domestic producers could only dream of. A legendary wine in my book. @June's All Day, Austin TX — 8 years ago

Karl-Joseph Christoffel's 2013 Erdener Treppchen Riesling Kabinett is the Mosel at its finest: pure, finely chiseled and unbelievable elegant! It is a tribute to how Riesling blossoms on slate soils. Delicately off-dry, it is my top value pick for Germany in 2013. (JP) — 8 years ago

Crisp, green apples, lemon zest, a bit of a hot finish but it settled with time. — 8 years ago

I remember this being very good and being impressed with JP Pinot when visiting. At 8 years this wine has developed really well and still has a couple years to it left. There’s a good black pepper on the nose with dried leaves, tree bark, and red currant. The acidity rushes down the side of my mouth with a mild tannin finish on the tip of the tongue. The nose transfers through quite well. Yummy — 5 years ago
