There is much to like, including the wine's very accessible price. I would prefer to drink this succulent Saint-Émilion over the next few years, while the fruit retains its youthful vibrancy. The nose is very nice, red fruits, spices a bit. The palate is fresh and balanced between a nice vivid acidity and fine grained tannins, the fruit is pure, precise and gorgeous. Not the most powerful and concentrated but always fresh and delicious.
Nez qui pinote, aromatique et sur les fruits rouges, des épices aussi. La bouche est équilibrée entre des tannins de grains fins et assez souples, belle acidité et un fruité pur et irrésistible, frais et savoureux. Pas le vin le plus puissant et le plus concentré, mais délicieux. 90-91

Past its best, but there is more than one thing I like in this wine
Firstly the tactile perception in your mouth, the wine invades your oral cavity
And secondly it is still fresh and a mineral tone after few hours came out too
(it reminded me of a Montrachet Marquise de Laguiche 1986 for the power)
Yes the fruit had gone oxidised a bit but I save this wine for the picture — 7 years ago

Very complex and aromatic nose with some flowery scents and some white fruit too along with lemon confit and a certain saline style that shows and develops on the palate too, yet the style is more Cote de Beaune than Chablis with some roundness and richness, full and enveloping the palate nicely but with enough tension to support it, very nice.
Un nez aromatique et assez complexe, floral avec des notes de fruits blancs et de citron confit aussi et une certaine salinité qui se développe et est présente en bouche aussi, une acidité moyenne qui supporte la rondeur et la richesse, un vin assez plein et mur, enrobant tout en ayant une assez belle tension, très bon et un style plus CDB que Chablisien. 92-93 — 5 years ago
