Great hoppy beer, not overpowering. — 8 years ago
Opened up nicely after decanting. Cork disintegrated but otherwise a delicious Napa cab. — 8 years ago
Great drop 2013 — 9 years ago
Beautiful sweet aromas of warm brown sugar, graphite, and black cherries. Similar on the palate with vanilla and sugar plums on the long finish. Not a hard edge to this wine. Silly smooth tannins. Awesomeness in a bottle. What u get when u take a vineyard that shares a fence line with screaming eagle and Russell Bevan as the wine maker. This hush hush wine has minuscule production — 10 years ago
Man, this was good. Little earthy/minerally. Not super big but I think that's 2010 in the napa valley (right?). — 11 years ago
Really smooth.. Semi sweet.. Great — 12 years ago
I recall that I really enjoyed this wine and that it was really smooth. Don’t recall vintage. — 7 years ago

Amazing acidity. Very Burgundian. — 8 years ago
Cherry notes and flirty. Great for a summer day if you find Surah top heavy. Lovely buttery aftertaste. Go New York! — 9 years ago
Showing its rhythmic licks and groovy colors (Deep Purple and bold) presciently savvy to a rock-n-roll world well before its time and blasting some bright-lights bling showing bing cherry gradually toned down by dried fruit right out the archer bag (often strapped across my back) while on brisk hike along wet leaf-lined trail through a late-evening forest (think musky mossy spice) as a 3/4 moon shines its magic over a distant blue pacific as the Zin unctuously offers a bigger-yet blueberry coating, front to back, and soft tannins bring back the dried fruit and a leisurely downhill creep to that distant ocean thereafter rewarded by a sit down on the seaward primary dune gazing at the moon and, of course, another hit. It's a rock-n-roll love affair in a bottle, top to bottom. Get some...😎 — 9 years ago
Nutty malt with the right amount of hops. Thanks @Steve Kirsch — 10 years ago

My least favourite wine of 2014 — 11 years ago
A wine that could not be in a better spot right now. Decanted at opening. Plush, soft aromas of black berries and plus just a touch of spice. On the palate this wine is juicy and soft, with velvety tannins and gorgeous acidity. Flavors of black plums and raspberries fill the glass around with wonderful spice box notes and just a kiss of oak. The finish seems to last forever with lingering spice and fruit notes. A truly wonderful wine. — 7 years ago
First time trying trail side, drank really well. — 8 years ago
Conn Creek is a boutique winery on the Silverado Trail in the Rutherford district headed by winemaker Mike McGrath. A blend of 75% Cabernet Sauvignon, 16% Cabernet Franc, 4% Merlot, 3% Malbec and 2% Petit Verdot. Deep red with aromas of currants and floral notes. On the palate juicy blackberry and raspberry flavors with espresso and tobacco tones with big well integrated tannins. Lingering finish ending with cedar and mineral ending. Will benefit from aging. — 8 years ago
Labor Day weekend. Dinner with n family. Also tasted at JCV today. Love it. — 9 years ago
This vineyard produces some of the most amazing wines but, this one was to die for! Sorry, not going to even try to sell you on it - just so there is more for me. — 9 years ago

I’ve not had a Regusci in awhile. 2011 was certainly not one of Napa’s best vintages. However, this 11 while not the best Estate bottle I’ve had from them, is just drinking really well. It might have something to do with the fact I coravined it six months ago and laid it back down in my EuroCave. It likely advanced it some. I am more & more not sold on the longterm storage (9yrs) of a coravined bottle.
On the nose, nice soft dark spice, beautiful baking spices; round full vanilla, cinnamon, clove & nutmeg. Ripe, slightly stewed; blackberries, dark cherries, black plum, black raspberries with a hint of ripe cherries & strawberries. Dark moist, soils, dry crush limestone, used leather, hints of eucalyptus/mint, tree sap, light roasted used coffee grounds with dark fresh & withering flowers.
The body is round & full. The tannins are round, velvety and about 60% resolved. The length is nice, structure not what you expect from this producer & Napa but, the balance is lovely. The fruits are ripe with no baked quality as the nose. Blackberries, dark cherries, black spiced plum, blueberries, black raspberries, creamy raspberries and more cherries & strawberries than the nose. Mixed berry cola. nice soft dark spice, beautiful, layered baking spices; round full vanilla, cinnamon, clove & nutmeg. Mocha chocolate powder, caramel, dark moist, soils, dry crush limestone, volcanic minerals, used leather, hints of eucalyptus/mint, tree sap, light roasted used coffee grounds with dark fresh & withering flowers. The acidity flows like a river. The medium finish is; rich, ripe, well balanced and lasts a minute plus.
If I hadn’t coravined this bottle, I’d tell you to drink in the next 3-5 years. However, I think it’s got another 7-8 years of good drinking ahead. Properly stored of course.
Photos of, the long view from the Silverado Trail, their tasting bar & picnic area. If you make a midday appointment, reserve a picnic table and bring lunch to enjoy after your tasting. It’s a great spot with excellent views and ambiance. Last but not least, their (buy on the honor system) fruit & vegetable cart during the right time of the year. You see, the Regusci Family were farmers long before they got into the winemaking business.
