Another star in Rosenthal book but I’m a bit puzzled by the muted enthusiasm on Delectable. Sure, not the last word on complexity but what glory in classic chard & Macon notes. Rich & minerally mouthfeel, balanced. Yeah, for less than 15$ local. So what’s the problem? — 7 years ago
Bright cherry fruit, violets, underbrush, med tannins and nice acid. — 7 years ago
Very drinkable now. This wine should please the American taste as a fruit forward and pleasant but excellent for the price. A great affordable wine to order while dinning out. — 8 years ago
Medium lemon yellow colour . Quite rich and ripe on the nose with buttered popcorn , lemon oil , toasty hints and some honeysuckle and peach . On the palate this is also quite rich , with lemon peel , apricot and but balanced by good acidity and a quite saline mineral , seashell tinged finish . Drinking well now and over the next 5-8 years. From a half bottle . — 8 months ago
Tart red and black cherry, cranberry, and blueberry. Plenty of dried leaves and earth. Well integrated new oak (20%). Good acidity with supple tannins. Moderate alcohol. — 6 years ago
