No. 5 Côtes de Provence Pinot Noir Rosé 2016

It’s maturity has softened it in a number of lovely ways. Like a conversation that’s a cinch to fall for- bright and alive but with just a bit of the depth that makes the finish stick around. — 5 years ago

Les Bressandes Beaune 1er Cru Pinot Noir 2016

Tart red and black cherry, cranberry, and blueberry. Plenty of dried leaves and earth. Well integrated new oak (20%). Good acidity with supple tannins. Moderate alcohol. — 5 years ago

Domaine Pignard Beaujolais Gamay 2016

Light red and clear and clean. Nose has some muted floral and herbaceous notes but not much else. Light bodied , medium + acidity. Pretty much non distinct. This bottle was left over from Turkey dinner. Should have drank it then, perhaps.

my god, is this great classic Ramonet with spearmint and tight citrus fruit, white flowers, tremendous drive and a thick midpalate. Tastes like grand cru white Burgundy. — 5 years ago
