Very lively and assertive fruit in this viognier based wine, good character, richness and depth, good with a variety of foods. 2016 — 7 years ago
Codorníu was founded in 1551 in Catalonia. They are the world's oldest and second largest producer of bottle-fermented sparkling wine. Enjoyable and balanced sparkler that brings plenty of cherry, almond, and yeast, but also offers an unexpected menthol note (think mint oil, not Kools) that gives this a unique edge. — 8 years ago

Best enjoyed ice cold. Very good Brut Nature Cava! — 11 years ago
Open for 2 hours... developed in the glass with aromas of plum, blackcherry, limestone gravel, and dried forest brush. Ripe palate, with dark fruits and plum carrying forward. Fresh fruit in quality, meets balanced acidity and tannin. Drink now - in a great place. — 7 years ago

March 6, 2016. Dinner w/ Jim and Carol. YUM! 90% Grenache, 5% Syrah, 5% Mourvèdre. Perfectly aged. Smooth, mellow tannins. Lovely. Wish I had a case of this. Purchased 2013. — 9 years ago
Chalky and mineral infused. Nicely restrained fruit. Too young, but shows promise. — 9 years ago

Wonderful nose - macerated berry, tomato leaf, mild cheese (cheddar maybe) white pepper.
Flavor. Medium alcohol, medium high acid, silky and delicious, nose matches taste - tighter tannins. Very good. — 11 years ago
Quite wonderful from first on the tongue to the back of the throat.
A really good buy at $11. Purchased at Moore Brothers in Wilmington DE — 12 years ago
