I’m not really sure where the 8.8 ratings for this are coming from - maybe a different vintage - but this wine is fantastic. Great aromas of tropical fruits of all things on the nose, along with melon and maybe a hint of candied lemon. Beautiful mouthfeel with a rich, enveloping flavor profile. Definitely a warmer climate Italian white (from Campagna, so obviously I guess), the wine is impeccably balanced through a lingering finish. Another amazing QPR wine from the folks at Le Volpe e l’uva in Firenze! — 5 years ago
Perfect balance of peppery burnished red berry with hint of plum and tangerine. Prosciutto. No longer. Love this little guy. — 7 years ago

Almond oxidation note, fennel seed, brine. Light, but with plenty of substance. Lovely. Ischia Bianco head to head with Fiano di Avellino for best whites of Italy — 8 years ago
Pale gold, dry, mineral. Hints of citrus and white peach. Family owned, managed with time honored tradition. Another Oliver McCrumb selection that is perfect with any seafood pairing or just chilling with a special person on the front porch. — 4 years ago

Had a little grapey/petrol note, but still showing nice acidity (lemon) and strong herbs (basil and thyme). Did well after being open for a while. — 7 years ago
