Ink Monster

Château Mouton Rothschild

Pauillac Red Bordeaux Blend 1988

Would have been a monster. Past its prime, with no fruit left. Still, some nice tertiary notes. Thanks, Mike! — 5 months ago

Château Pavie

Saint-Èmilion Grand Cru Red Bordeaux Blend 2003

Massive monster of a wine that will obviously polarise. The type of wine that you drink while being fed grapes and fanned with a giant palm leaf. Opulent and luxurious with blackberry, brambles and tar. Its going to be too much for a lot of people but if you like your wines full of flavour then this is for you! — 18 days ago

Vintage Ink

Whisky Barrel Aged Red 2021

Quickly becoming my favorite! Bold and flavorful with a peppery finish, great with steak. I may be biased as a bourbon aficionado, but the whiskey barrel aging definitely adds something special. Top notch! — 10 months ago

Château Ducru-Beaucaillou

Saint-Julien Red Bordeaux Blend 1995

Tobacco and dark fruit. Ink and pure midpalate. Still quite dense and lean. Good stuff. — 2 months ago

Grant Burge

Barossa Ink Shiraz 2020

Deep purple in color; black plum, black cherries, and black pepper on the nose; medium plus acidity; medium tannins; tastes like blackberry jam, plum sauce, and a hint of eucalyptus with a long peppery finish. Nellie likes it with Popeyes Spicy Fried Chicken. I was surprised it paired so well with spicy chicken. Be forewarned that it made the chicken even more spicy, but the flavors went really well together. I love this wine. — 7 months ago
