This may not be the mostly purely delicious wine I’ve ever had (though it is up there) but it’s undoubtedly the most impressive. Vibrant purple in the glass, shockingly primary for 60 year old wine. Stunning fruit and structure. Clearly this is immortal — 6 years ago
Immortal Kronos, there can be only one. Release your inner Gollum....Give me the PRECIOUS!! @Cathy Corison you're a dang magician. — 8 years ago
Tasted blind. Ruby color. Almost opaque. Young fruit forward nose. Notes of plums, mocha, dark chocolate, coffee, cinnamon and some exotic thing like eucalyptus. So rich and vibrant in the mouth. A forever finish. This wine took us in all directions. Immortal. Stan's 60th will always be remembered for the 45 Latour vs 45 Mouton mano y mano battle. A wine life moment for sure. — 9 years ago
This winery was sold and rebranded to Immortal Estate. This was $55 and then increased (to 75 - 100). Amazing wine at $55 but loses its value around the $70 or so price range.
Silky smooth lush dark fruit, cocoa, and cigar flavors. Drinking very well now right.
The new winery I boycott on the outrageous price increases but these are very good at the right price point. — 6 years ago
First off I use words from a theme of an immortal movie called Midnight Cowboy but modified to fit this post everybody talking at me - I can hear the words there saying - that is either a song for the insane or a cry for me to step up my game as my friends are crushing it lately with there wine choices of late
now that the wine is decanted for two hours and will be another hour before friends show up the first sip is so darn good / epic in fact - big bold and beautiful
Love the deep deep deep reddish color - tannins are so refined and the finish is exceedingly long that smiles are automatic
We have one more special wine tonight so stay tuned — 8 years ago
One of the craziest wines I've ever tasted. Intellectually challenging. Not bad. Not immortal. Endlessly curious. — 9 years ago
Soft, balanced, velvety, long aftertaste — 5 years ago
Stunning! Petrichor, baked cherries, and truffle. Transcendent, ethereal, and immortal! — 9 years ago
In the immortal words of @Rajat Parr, this is "Coche-like, but not quite Coche." — 9 years ago
Hot diggity damn, that's good. In the immortal words of Jed Clampett - "Whooo doggy!" — 9 years ago

In the immortal (changed) words of 2 chainz “two get but got me a few on”.
I’ve had this vintage from theirs recently and it is quite fun. People generally guessed langue Nebbiolo (which is a guess I liked) and Mencia which is also a pretty good guess. Tastes a little stony and green which I love along with slightly round fruit notes. And a fair amount of acidity. I really like this for what it is and would once again, buy it again. But also because it’s hard to blind. — 5 years ago
