The purest a Vidal can get. Primary aromas of apricot, but the age allowed for some nice caramel complexities to show up. Rich on the palate with strong honey tones and a touch of citrus hiding in the back. Really lingers too, and paired well with a salted caramel cheesecake. — 7 years ago
Rich gold color, nose of honey & fruit, taste to match the nose and enough sweetness and acidity to end to satisfy without being syrupy. Wonderful glass to finish a meal. — 8 years ago
New ice wine producer for me from Yakima Valley. Paired well with Hedy's ice cream & sorbet creation. Nice array of stone fruits, marmalade, nuts, dry pineapple, wet stones, very good soft minerality, beautiful acidity, a thick, rich well polished finish with just the right amount of (RS) sugar. — 8 years ago
Like peaches and cream. Perfect with food. Perfect on its own. Jean Georges. — 4 years ago

Not a rose fan. Not an ice wine fan, but this is delicious. Not too sweet, off dry and just yummy. — 6 years ago
An ultra prestigious Chardonnay, outstanding intensity and complexity, big nose of whipped cream and pineapple, more ripe tropical fruits and a bit of citrus on the palate. Tremendous wine. — 8 years ago
Absolutely lovely! Well balanced, super creamy and definitely nutty. Definitely will buy this one again! — 5 years ago
Delicious big baked apple and toasted nuttiness with rum-vanilla ice cream. On the nose. Honey, ripe pineapple, medium acidity but slight bitterness on the finish. — 5 years ago
It is highly challenging not to be drawn to the intense golden hue of this brilliant cold vintage Chardonnay. Needing an hour in the decanter to fully evolve, this stunning wine opens with an intense bouquet of roasted pineapple, apricot and Pazazz apple with wild mushroom undertones that all shine brightly in the glass. The soft and downright silky mouthfeel impresses as this gracefully glides across the mid-palate. Bright honeydew melon, pineapple upside down cake, vanilla cream and damp earth tones round out the palate. The combination of weight and tension in the glass is really thrilling. While gorgeous at the eight year mark, this beautiful wine still has a decade or more ahead of it. Drink 2019-2031- 95 — 6 years ago
Nice, right amount of oak. Perfect with a Mt. Tam triple cream. Will keep stocked

Deep burnt orange in color with a lighter orange cream mousse and tiny bubbles. Wonderful nose of dried apricots and honeysuckle. This is echoed on the rich (of course) palate. Lowish (medium minus) acidity — it’s Vidal after all — offset by the tingle of the bubbles. Stone fruity moderate finish. Hard to dislike any icewine, even if it’s Vidal, and the bubbles add a surprising element of fun to this one. A nice celebratory dessert wine to drink with your birthday cake or New Year’s pudding. Will likely lose some bubbles after a decade, but should satisfy through 2039 and beyond. — 4 years ago
