I need a reup right now! Pretty reduction. Stones. Lemons with a touch of concentration. I love 17! At Valley Swim Club — 7 months ago
Last time we had this was nearly 4 years ago - the age has been good to this, but no need to wait much longer in my view. Has that lovely ethereal quality on the palate. Quite restrained but so delicious. Wonderful pairing with roast chicken with mushrooms. Lighter bodied but all there. Really nice burg - one that is just hard to stop drinking. — 3 months ago
Not bad but paled vs the 96 Rousseau Chambertin. A little match stick in the nose, disjointed. Beefy and young still but not fun at the moment. — 6 months ago
Meyer lemon, lemon zest, dusty minerality, lingering finish. — 3 years ago
Purchased at Blue Point Grill in Staunton over my birthday weekend trip. Fantastic!! Had with crab cakes and Jack had a scallop Po Boy and it was perfect. Crisp, light but flavorful. Would definitely drink again 😊 — 3 months ago
The 2019 Beaune Grèves 1er Cru has a fulsome bouquet with vivacious wild strawberry and cranberry, and impressive mineralité and complexity. Très Grèves! The palate is medium-bodied with saturated, pliant tannins and gentle grip. This fine-boned Grèves shows focus and precision through to the finish and has an assiduous whole bunch inclusion (50%). Harmonious and well-crafted, this is an exemplary Beaune. Tasted blind at the Burgfest tasting. (Neal Martin, Vinous, December 2023)
