So different from French Pinot noir : caramel and complex, to be definitely discovered. — 9 years ago
Brass in color. Perfumed aromas of lavender, dried grass, with subtle peat notes, dried red fruits, coconut, vanilla, and caramel in the finish. Rich mouthfeel. Integrated tannins. — 9 years ago
Nose is apple, fresh and light. In the mouth very light and jovial as well. Fruity and then lightly bitter on the finale. Very feminin and elegant. — 9 years ago

This was such a fun taste. Brought to me by a customer after discussing Chinese and Japanese wines. Drinks like the Kerner you’d find in Italy. Fresh floral, pineapple, pears, and white peppercorn on the finish — 7 years ago

Candylike aromas on the nose of pear and red apple, bubblegum, cherry blossom. Sweet cherry blossom and honey on the palate with a big dose of anise, red and black licorice. Pure and crystalline but just a bit oversweet and medicinal to me. — 9 years ago

Tasted at an amazing restaurant in the wilderness near Hanazono in Hokkaido Japan. Not as buttery and oaky as many Californian Chardonnays I have had in the past. It was rich yet balanced and refreshing with cleansing acid. Great match with Sashimi. — 7 years ago
Dry and well-rounded; a very good match — 8 years ago

White Rhone that is creamy lavender and honey suckle. It really tastes like Provence. First time drinking a wine that reminds of the actual place. Magical with Hokkaido scallop and rose wine poached octopus — 9 years ago
Elegant, tropical fruit. — 9 years ago
Less fruit than suggested and also more peaty than expected - however wonderful pear and a great smokey finish — 9 years ago

Inviting nose, sweet round single-malt flavors, interesting finish. Just a very pleasurable tipple. The only reason this is not a perfect whiskey is the very faintest note of varnish in the nose and finish. Reminded me a bit of Kavalan Sherry Cask in that respect. I had this in Japan with my lovely wife Dreama, at The Long Bar in Sapporo, Hokkaido. — 7 years ago
