Another grape I don't know much about (Pallagrello Nero). The wine is a lot racier and loud than I was expecting (especially given it was retailing for less than 20 usd). But the flavors seem more floral/rose-petaly/spicy/clovey rather than fruity/chocolate/vanilla. Lot of tannin. I chose the wrong dinner to make. This wine is going to curb stomp my pasta. Poured by Sébastien himself in the cellar while he was still pressing the just harvested new vintage of Raudonas. He even took the time to put a fantastic plate of charcuterie on the table.
